Dokuz Eylul University’s grant project named “Social Capacity Building on Climate Change in Higher Education: Perception Management, Awareness Raising and Resilience Building Project”, supported by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and the EU, was carried out between 2017-2020.

The main objectives of the project are to raise awareness of DEU staff, academics and students, to measure energy efficiency and CO2 emissions in faculty buildings, to carry out a pilot study to obtain energy identity certificates, to develop the content of undergraduate courses, and to create a graduate curriculum in the field of climate change research.
